To all big gun enthusiast:
Thank you for attending Paul Cooks 4th of July Shoot Out, and making it
a safe and fun party. As you know, Paul is not going to have this event
next year. However, we have a new location to get together and shoot.
Stan Sitzman and Mary McQuire have invited us to shoot on their property this coming August 26th and 27th. Bring your own food and camp out over night. They have 100 acres of land on the Louisa/Hanover county line with a ten mile back stop of uninhabited forest - a VERY safe place to shoot! Also, there are several trails on which we can drive our 4-wheelers, dirt bikes and army trucks. It doesn’t get much better than this, guys! So pack up your big guns - all BATF legal, of course - a few belts of ammunition, some adult beverage for after the barrels have cooled, and lets party!
For several years, Paul Cook has graciously hosted some of the best shooting parties I know about. Yes, there are a few more guys at Knobb Creek, but we don’t have to drive across West Virginia to get there. I know you will join me in thanking Paul for taking the risk and having us over. All of the members of the Virginia Military Vehicle Association are invited, but this is not a VMVA event. Many thanks in advance to Mary and Stan for their gracious invitation to hold this event.
